Tannery Machines
- Since 1947, Aletti Giovanni & Figli: a name, a Family, a warranty. It is not out of place to use ancient formulae like this when you speak of a Company that has contributed to the writing of the history of the Italian tanning sector. A Company that in 1997 has had its 50th anniversary, a glorious activity, known all over the world for decades and appreciated for the unquestionable qualities of the machines they produce: sturdiness, long life, reliability, precision and very high output.
- Characteristics that have remained unchanged in time and have achieved continuous technical improvements through the years, a result of the restless updating work that the Company follows with great enthusiasm and Carthusian dedication. Seriousness, reliability and transparency are a mark we have never abandoned, imposed by the founder of the award winning Company, Giovanni Aletti. Taking advantage of his great knowledge of tannery machines and of the experience of his son Franco as designer, Aletti reality was established in the immediate Post-War period.
- Then, this is contemporary history, Marco, Ezio and Carlo Aletti, really born in the factory, have developed and improved the Company, which in 1998 was awarded the export prize, and they still follow personally the designing, the manufacture and the sale of all Aletti machines and, with the help of a highly qualified staff, are creating the future of the enterprise.
- We produce now the most complete range of machines for skins in the world (including fleshing, sammying, shaving, wet buffing, setting-out, staking, buffing, dedusting, ironing and polishing machines), together with some well known and reliable machines for hides and pig skins (including fleshing, shaving, setting out, buffing, dedusting, polishing and sammying. We like to stress that Aletti was the inventor of the modern through-feed sammying machine), but our legitimate pride is to be the most ancient Italian manufacturer of buffing machines (the first machine produced by Aletti was a 250 mm buffing machine which is still in operation) and to be able to supply the widest range of this type of machine in the world, including traditional buffing, through-feed roller buffing, wet buffing and the high-tech band buffing machine for leather, sole leather, rubber, bonded leather, fabric and textile.
- We have always devoted our efforts to the development of the leather processing technology, without forgetting the effective requirement of the end-users, whose main interest lay on the final product, the reliability and the easy handling of the machine. Particular care has been paid to the standardization of the hydraulic and the electric components, to reduce the amount of spares required, to the improvement of safety standards and to the ergonomic aspect of all components and all controls of the machine as well as to the simple and reduced maintenance, to avoid the operators stress and to make our machines easy and safe in use.
- Regular and careful after-sale service and complete availability of spare parts (we can supply spares for all kind of machines produced by Aletti from 1947 up to the present time) make Aletti one of the most reliable manufacturer of tannery machines and textile industry equipment.
